Landscape Architect/Land Planner Department Head
MHG is located in Montgomery Village, Maryland and provides Civil Engineering, Surveying, Landscape Architecture and Land Planning Services throughout the DC Metro Area with a focus on Maryland jurisdictions.
We are seeking a creative licensed Landscape Architect/Land Planner with practical understanding to head our Landscape Architecture and Land Planning Department and be responsible for managing projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary design teams, and lead in the design from concept to construction documents. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the following areas:

Mentoring of junior staff
About You
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
-
7-10 years of experience
-
Licensed Landscape Architect
-
Use of AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Vectorworks Landmark software programs
-
Passion for design, strong work ethic, sense of ownership and pride.

Experience collaborating with clients, consultants, review agencies, and stakeholders.

Project and Personnel Management Experience

LEED credentials are a plus.

MHG offers a competitive salary. Anticipated Annual Compensation for this position is between $100K to $130K. Our benefits package includes Group Health Insurance; Life Insurance; Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance; 401(k); Profit Sharing; Hybrid and Flexible Work Schedules, Paid Time Off; and Paid Holidays.
